GATHERING
As an F2P or Low spender Player, Gathering is the most important task which is the base of everything in Rise of Kingdoms.
Every Resource is important whether you have abundant or scarce.
Important things you should know:
- Gathering in alliance territory gives 25% additional speed gathering boost.
- Always keep your One March busy in Alliance Resource Lode/Mine.
- Gold is a b***h, so it doesn't matter even if you have 50 mil, still collect it.

- Go for higher nodes when you go for sleep or offline for long hours(Travelling time doesn't matter).
- If you collect gathering rune like 15% wood gathering boost and have 4x Marches then send 1x March to alliance Resources Mine and 3x to wood resources tiles(x is a variable value).
- Also, go for same level Resources tile so, you dont have to login frequently.(you can login after 2 hrs to gather resources again).
- The Higher the gathering speed, the more you can collect resources,so better upgrade "Gathering speed" rather than "resource production" in Academy.
Gathering Commander:
One of the stupidest thing that I have seen is that people invest in Legendary commanders(Cleopatra VII, Ishida Mitsunari, Seondeok for gathering.
The First thing you want to know is which commanders are best and cheap for Gathering so that you can invest Sculptures in Epic and Legendary Commanders.
Important Note:
- Use "Tome of Knowledge" to increase level of Gathering Commanders to Level 20 so that we can max the Talent Gathering Tree. Once you upgrade their gathering skill to max the again use "Tome of Knowledge" to upgrade them to level 40 else you can directly upgrade them to level 40(Depends upon you, I personally prefer maxing the gathering skills then maxing to Level 40, especially for epic).
- Upgrade Legendary Commander to only Level 20 because you will get free commander sculptures when opening Golden Key chest.
- No Upgrading "Joan of Arc" talent tree for Gathering.

Constance(Blue Commander)
Matilda of Flanders(Epic Commander)
Matilda Important Note: Level up her till 20 then wait for her sculptures from Golden Chest to max her gathering ability.(Do not waste universal Sculptures).
